Roger Gladwell Landscaping and Construction is thriving family business with over 25 years experience creating beautiful gardens and timber frame garden buildings for the distinctive landscape and architecture of East Anglia. We are looking for new team members.

Skilled and semi skilled Landscapers Wanted

We are looking for experienced and reliable Skilled and semi skilled Landscapers to join our team.

This is a hands-on role working on a variety of high-quality landscaping projects, so we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work confidently as part of a team and has good experience across hard landscaping.

The role will include:

  • Paving and patio installation
  • Block paving and driveway work
  • Brickwork and blockwork
  • Fencing and timber work
  • Ground preparation and excavation
  • Drainage
  • Concreting and laying foundations
  • Turfing, planting and general soft landscaping
  • Operating small plant and machinery
  • Working from plans, levels and specifications

What we’re looking for:

Ideally, you’ll have several years’ experience within landscaping or a similar trade and be capable of completing work to a high standard without needing constant supervision.

You should be:

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Hard-working with a good attitude
  • Confident with hard landscaping
  • Able to work accurately and take pride in the finished job
  • Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year
  • Able to work well within a team
  • Polite and professional when working at customers’ properties

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Experience operating diggers, dumpers and other landscaping machinery would be a big advantage. Relevant tickets or qualifications are also welcomed, although practical ability and experience are more important to us.
